In the 1800s, inventors created a device called the electrical telegraph. It allowed people to send messages over long distances. Then, Alexander Graham Bell came along and created the telephone. This invention made it much easier for people to talk to each other, even if they were far apart.

Then, scientists found out about something called radio waves. These waves made it much easier to talk to each other. By sending information without wires, they eliminated the need for physical connections.

James Clerk Maxwell studied electricity and learned important things about energy waves. Heinrich Hertz demonstrated that we can send signals wirelessly using electric sparks. Because of these discoveries, we can now communicate.

The vacuum tube and inventions like the Explorer punch disc improved electronic systems. Paul Gottlieb Nipkow and Vladimir Kosma Zworykin helped send pictures from far away. What they made became the start of how we share photos and videos today.
