How to Install VMware Tools on macOS Mojave 10.14?
You need to install VMware Tools to get more performance from the virtual machines you installed on VMware Workstation, to use the virtual machine in full-screen mode, and to exchange files between the virtual machine and the physical computer by dragging and dropping.
It can be done by clicking on VM / Install VMware Tools from the VMware menu to install VMware Tools for macOS Mojave running on VMware. However, it is recommended that you install VMware Tools using the Darwin.iso file downloaded with VMware Unlocker, which is used to run MacOS systems on VMware.
It is the ideal way to install VMware Tools using the darwin.iso file on the macOS Mojave 10.14 virtual machine.

How to Install VMware Tools on macOS Mojave Virtual Machine?
After you install macOS Mojave with VMware, you will need the darwin.iso file to install VMware Tools. You can find the Darwin.iso file in the VMware Unlocker 2.1.1 folder. If you want to download the darwin.iso file directly to your computer, click the button below.
Follow the steps below to install VMware Tools on macOS Mojave.
In the image below you can see that VMware Tools is not installed. You can set the screen resolution of the virtual machine automatically by clicking View / Fit Guest Now.
Right-click on the CD/DVD of the macOS Mojave virtual machine, and then click Settings.
In the Virtual Machine Settings window, select the CD/DVD (SATA) option and then the Use ISO image file option on the right, then click the Browse button.
Select the darwin.iso file you downloaded to your computer and click the Open button.
Check the Connected option and click the Close button.
After adding the darwin.iso to the macOS Mojave 10.14 virtual machine, the VMware Tools installation window will open. Click Install VMware Tools.
Click on the Continue button to install VMware Tools on the macOS Mojave.
Click the Install button.
Click the Continue Installation button.
Type your MacOS user account password and click Install Software button.
Wait while VMware Tools is being installed.
If you see the System Extension Blocked warning, click the Open Security Preferences button.
Allow the VMware Tools installation by clicking the Allow button in the macOS Mojave Security & Privacy window.
After you complete the VMware Tools installation on macOS 10.14, restart your system by clicking on the Restart button.
After restarting the macOS Mojave 10.14 virtual machine, click View / Fit Guest Now.
You can see that the screen resolution of the virtual machine is automatically configured.
How to Share Files from Windows PC to macOS Mojave Virtual Machine?
After you install VMware Tools for macOS Mojave 10.14, you need to allow access to VMware Tools on macOS Mojave when copying files from the Host PC to the virtual machine.
Follow the steps below to share files between macOS Mojave 10.14 and Windows PC.
Create a new text document on the Windows 10 Host PC and then drag and drop it onto the macOS Mojave virtual machine.
You will receive an access error as shown in the following image. In the warning window that appears, click on the Open System Preferences button.
To make changes in the Security & Privacy window, click on the symbol in the image below.
To continue processing, type your password and click on the Unlock button.
In the Privacy section, select vmware-tools-deamon.
Once you have enabled the VMware Tools application on the macOS Mojave, close the window.
Restart your macOS Mojave virtual machine.
After restarting the macOS virtual machine, try to drag and drop the file you created to the virtual machine. As you can see in the image below, you can now successfully share files between the Windows Host PC and the MacOS Mojave virtual machine.
The file has been successfully copied onto the virtual machine!
