How to Install MacOS Sierra in VMware Workstation 14 on Windows 10?
In this article, we will install Apple MacOS Sierra 10.12 with the VMware Workstation virtualization program. Before installing MacOS Sierra with VMware on Windows 10, install VMware Workstation 14 on your computer.

How to Install MacOS Sierra 10.12 on VMware Virtual Machine?
You need the Unlocker program to install the MacOS Sierra operating system on VMware Workstation. The goal of the Unlocker program is to activate the MacOS operating system on VMware.
Follow the steps below for installing MacOS Sierra 10.12 using VMware Workstation 14 on Windows 10 operating system.
Before you use the VMware Unlocker tool, you can see if you have a MacOS operating system in the Select a Guest Operating System window.
Run the win-install.cmd file as an administrator to run the VMware Unlocker tool.

VMware Unlocker 2.1.1 has downloaded VMware Tools and copied the necessary files for MacOS.
Now reopen VMware Workstation 14 and click Create a new Virtual Machine to create a new virtual machine for the MacOS Sierra 10.12 installation, select Custom (Advanced) and click on the Next button.
In the Choose the Virtual Machine Hardware Compatibility window, select Workstation 14.x and click Next.
Continue by selecting the I will install the operating system later option.
In the Select a Guest Operating System window, Apple Mac OS X has added as shown below. Select MacOS Sierra 10.12 from Version.
To install MacOS Sierra 10.12 on an external disk, click on the Browse button and select the location.
In the Firmware Type window, click Next to continue.
In the Processor Configuration window, set the number of processors and the number of processor cores depending on your computer hardware.
You can set the amount of virtual machine RAM to 4 GB.
In the Network Type window, select Use Bridged Networking to continue.
Leave the setting in the Controller Type window as default and continue.
In the Select a Disk Type window, select SATA and click Next.
In the Select a Disk window, select Create a new virtual disk.
You can allocate a 40 GB space for the VMware virtual machine MacOS installation. For VMware disk performance, select the options Store virtual disk as a single file and Allocate all disk space now.
Click on the Next button.
The virtual machine is ready to install MacOS Sierra. Click on the Finish button to proceed to create a hard disk.
Creating hard disk…
Click on CD/DVD.
Select the MacOS Sierra ISO file you downloaded.
Once you have selected the MacOS Sierra ISO file, click Processors.
To enable processor virtualization, select the Virtualization engine options as shown in the following image, and then click OK to close the window.
Before starting the MacOS Sierra installation on VMware Workstation 14, go to the MacOS virtual machine location and open it with Notepad to edit the VMX file of the virtual machine.
At the bottom of the VMX file, type smc.version = “0” and save the file.

Click Power to install MacOS Sierra on VMware Workstation 14.

Select Use English for the main language. Click on the Next symbol.
For MacOS Sierra installation, click Continue.
Click the Continue button to accept the MacOS license agreement.
Click on the Agree button to continue.
For MacOS Sierra installation, we need to format our disc. Click on Utilities.
Click Disk Utility.
Click on VMware Virtual SATA Hard Drive Media and click Erase.
Type the MacOS disk name and click the Erase button.

Disk for MacOS Sierra installation is ready! Click on the Done button to continue.
To continue with the installation, close the Disk Utility.
In the Install MacOS step, select the disk on which to install MacOS Sierra.
Continue by clicking the Continue button.
Installing MacOS Sierra in VMware Workstation 14 on Windows 10…
After the MacOS installation is complete, the system will restart.
Opening Mac Operating system..
Make your regional settings and click Continue.
Select your keyboard layout and continue.
To bypass the data transfer step, select Do not transfer any information now and click the Continue button.
If you want to use location service, you can choose Enable Location Services on this Mac. Continue by clicking the Continue button.
Click the Do not Use button.
If you have an Apple ID, you can login here. Continue by clicking Do not sign in.
Click the Skip button.
In the Terms and Conditions window, click Agree.
Click the Agree button to accept the MacOS license agreement.
To create a user account for MacOS, type your username and password and click Continue.
To select a time zone, select your region and continue.
Continue by clicking the Continue button.
Preparing MacOS Sierra…
MacOS Sierra installation on VMware Workstation 14 has completed successfully. The next most important step is to install VMware Tools.
How to Install VMware Tools on Mac OS Sierra 10.12?
Once you have installed VMware Tools on MacOS Sierra, you can transfer files using the drag-and-drop method on the virtual machine. You can also activate the MacOS virtual machine graphics card.
Select Eject “OS X Base System” to eject the ISO file that is attached to the system.
For MacOS Sierra VMware Tools installation, click VM/Install VMware Tools.
VMware Tools will open as shown below. Click on Install VMware Tools.
VMware Click the Continue button in the Welcome to the VMware Tools Installer window.
Click the Install button.
Click the Continue Installation button to launch the MacOS VMware Tools installation.
Type your MacOS Root password.
Click the Install Software button.
Installing VMware Tools on MacOS Sierra 10.12…
Once the VMware Tools installation is complete, click the Restart button to restart the virtual machine.
Type your password and press Enter.
After installing VMware Tools, the MacOS virtual machine solved the full screen problem!
