How to Install VirtualBox Guest Additions on Linux Mint?
When you install one of the Windows or Linux operating systems with VirtualBox, you need to install Guest Additions. After installing Guest Additions, you can use USB 3.0 devices properly, and you can also use the virtual machine as Full Screen.

How to Install Guest Additions of Linux Mint 18.3 in VirtualBox?
Once you have installed Linux Mint using Oracle VM VirtualBox, follow the steps below in order to install guest additions.
Run the Linux Mint virtual machine and from the VirtualBox menu, click on Devices / Insert Guest Additions CD image.
When the Guest Additions CD image is added to the system, a warning window will open and click the Run button in this window.
Type in your root password and click on the Authenticate button.
Wait while the guest additions of Linux Mint install.
Once the Linux Mint Guest Additions installation is complete, you can now use the virtual machine in full-screen mode as follows!
