What is an End User?

An end user is a mass of users who do not have professional knowledge of a computer’s hardware and software resources or perform basic tasks.

End User Definition and Types

What is an End User in Informatics (IT)?

A user can be defined as a person or a user of something that uses or works with an object or is a recipient of public, private, commercial, or professional service.

A PC can also be considered as a program or a person managing the computer, as it provides management over hardware and software resources through access permissions.

In IT, the definition in information processing department can be defined as a person using a computer, operating system, service, or any system.

It serves to interact or run with different privileges, permissions, and programs installed on the computer.

Types of End User

Typically, its types are the set of privileges, permissions, resources, or devices that have access. That is, a user can be both a person and a machine, a program.

We can divide the commonly used types in informatics into four;

1. Guest

A guest is a person who comes to the page but is not identified as a registered person and can only view restricted content.

Another type is people who can post a post to the platforms on which they are registered but are waiting for approval from a supervisor or different administrative groups to review it.

These users do not need a program to add, delete, or change content because the system’s infrastructure is designed for these users.

2. Community Members

Community members define themselves as adding new links to pages, viewing and uploading photos, reading and joining forums, and accessing documents stored on the portal, with a name and password on the home page.

3. Registered Users

They identify the people who make up the users on the website and can access private content.

Also, they can add new documents, create events, edit posts, and collaborate with individuals or institutions.

4. Administrators

Administrators have the authority to add modules with new functions, update the portal, and add or delete contacts. In short, a manager is responsible for running and managing the entire structure.

End User Specifications

The work they do is critical as end users are required in situations with nonlinear characteristics and generally in a large number of systems with some operation.

Plug, the data included in the definition of the functions performed are the function’s input and output variables and the function’s code.

The function may not have an input argument but must have at least one output argument.

The function can be given in two ways: by locating it or directly by the function code. It is also possible to export them via source code or compiled code.

User Account

User accounts are created for different individuals to access the same computer operating system.

Generally, a user has a personal folder, permissions to execute specific programs, and limited access to a particular computer network, which all require.

In addition, accounts are created on websites to access certain services.

Registration is usually done by entering a name and password, but in some cases, more information is requested, and this is stored in a database with a specific privacy policy.

In addition, there are anonymous users, but the IP addresses from which the Web servers are accessed need to be recorded.
