However, some programs may not support PlayOnLinux. You need to check whether the program you want to install is included in the PlayOnLinux database first.

How to Install PlayOnLinux 4.2.12 on Ubuntu 18.04?
If you have not done the Ubuntu 18.04 installation before, you can browse from here. Follow the steps below to install PlayOnLinux on Ubuntu 18.04 step by step.
Open the Terminal on Ubuntu 18.04 and execute the commands below in order to install PlayOnLinux.
wget -q "http://deb.playonlinux.com/public.gpg" -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo wget http://deb.playonlinux.com/playonlinux_trusty.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install playonlinux
After starting PlayOnLinux installation, additional disk space is reported to be used. Press Y to continue and press Enter.
Once the PlayOnLinux installation is complete, you can start the program by typing PlayOnLinux in the Terminal.
