After you download the ISO file to your computer, you can install it on virtualization programs or on a computer.

How to Install SUSE Linux Step by Step

To install SUSE Linux, you can use virtualization programs such as VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, VMware Fusion, or VMware ESXi. It is also simple and easy to install it on a physical computer.

Before starting the installation, burn the SUSE image file to a Flash Memory and boot your computer with this Flash Memory.

Follow the steps below to install openSUSE system step by step.

   Step 1

After booting your system with the ISO file, you will see the following setup screen. On the Boot screen, press Enter on Installation.

Wait while the SUSE installation starts.

Configure your language and keyboard layout setting for your system, and then click Next.

On the Suggested Partitioning screen, the system partitioning by default is as follows. If you want to install openSUSE on a Microsoft Windows 10, click the Expert Partitioner button to configure your Partition settings.
