Windows 98, the code name for Memphis, was released by Microsoft in 1998 as an update to the Win95 operating system.
Microsoft had developed the Windows 98 operating system to improve Windows 95’s shortcomings and some additional security issues. This version was released on June 25, 1998.
Setting up Microsoft Windows 98 with VMware Workstation is quite simple. You can setup and use legacy operating systems in your computers using VMware virtualization software. If you have not installed this virtualization software on your system before, please check out this article.
