How to Install macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 on Windows PC/Laptop using VirtualBox
In this article, we will install macOS 10.13.5 on a Windows PC/Laptop using the Oracle VM VirtualBox virtualization program.

You can use virtualization programs to run and use the MacOS operating system on a desktop or laptop computer without an Apple Mac computer. You can install High Sierra on a Windows 10 using one of the VMware Workstation or VirtualBox virtualization programs.
VMware requires the VMware Unlocker program for Mac OS setup. To set up Mac OS with VirtualBox, you also need to configure a few settings in the same way.

With the virtualization program, you can use ISO files to run MacOS on PC or Laptop. You can download the ISO setup image files for macOS to your computer from the following links.

How to Install macOS High Sierra on Windows 10 using Oracle VM VBox
Before proceeding with the installation of macOS 10.13.5 with virtual machine, install VirtualBox on Windows.
Once you have installed Oracle VM VirtualBox, follow the steps below to install High Sierra 10.13.5 step by step.
Step 1
To create a new virtual machine for macOS on VBox, click on the image below to see the related article.
Step 2
Once you have created the VM, add the ISO file you downloaded to the virtual machine. Click the Start button to launch the VM.
Step 3
Wait while macOS is booting.
Step 4
Opening macOS…
Step 5
Select your system language and click the Continue button.
Step 6
To configure the hard disk of the virtual machine, select Disk Utility and click the Continue button.
Step 7
On the Disk Utility, select VBOX HARDDISK Media and then click the Erase button.
Step 8
Type in the name of the hard disk and click the Erase button again.
Step 9
After the hard disk is formatted, click the Done button. Then, close the Disk Utility.
Step 10
To start the macOS 10.13.5 installation on VirtualBox, select Install macOS and click the Continue button.
Step 11
Click the Continue button on the macOS installation window.
Step 12
Accept the license agreement.
Step 13
Select the disk to install the Mac OS system and click Continue.
Step 14
Wait while the installation is copying the files. After copying the files, the VM will restart.
Step 15
If the virtual machine restarts and then the Utilities window opens again, close the virtual machine completely.
Step 16
Remove the ISO file on VBox and click OK. Then, restart the VM.

On the Shell screen, execute the following commands in order and proceed to the next step.

cd "macOS Install Data"
cd "Locked Files"
cd "Boot Files"

Add the ISO file to the VM again.
Step 19
Now, to continue setting up macOS 10.13.5, type boot.efi on the Shell screen and press Enter.
Step 20
Wait while it installs the Mac OS 10.13.5 on VirtualBox.
Step 21
Select the region you live in the Mac OS registration window and click the Continue button.
Step 22
Add the keyboard layout you want to use and click Continue.
Step 23
In the Apple Data & Security window, click Continue. If you would like more information about using Apple’s personal data, you can click Learn More.
Step 24
Select Don’t transfer any information now and click the Continue button.
Step 25
If you want to sign in with an Apple ID, type your email account and sign in. If you want to log in later on Apple, click Set Up Later and then click Skip.
Step 26
Click the Agree button to accept the macOS software license agreement.
Step 27
Create a new user account and click Continue.
Step 28
Click Continue directly to use Apple’s maps and other applications and participate in Apple’s customer experience program. If you want to configure these options, click Customize Settings.

Wait while your Mac is preparing…
Step 30
After successfully completing the setup on Windows PC/Laptop, click on the Apple Logo and then click About to check the operating system version.
How to Configure Display Resolution on VirtualBox
You can easily increase or decrease the screen resolution of the virtual machine running on VirtualBox. To get rid of the screen resolution problem, first close the VirtualBox virtualization program and follow the steps below.
Step 1
Open the CMD command prompt as administrator and execute the following commands on the CMD respectively.
cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\Virtualbox"
VBoxManage setextradata "Your Virtual Machine Name" VBoxInternal2/EfiGraphicsResolution 1920x1080
You can change the VirtualBox Mac OS screen resolution with the following values.
1280×720 (HD)
1920×1080 (FHD)
2560×1440 (QHD)
2048×1080 (2K)
3840×2160 (4K)
5120×2880 (5K)
Step 2
After changing the screen resolution of the virtual machine on Oracle VM VirtualBox software, run the virtual machine. You can check the resolution value from the Displays section.
