How to Install GNS3 0.8.7 in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Bionic Beaver?
Follow the steps below to install GNS3 0.8.7 on Ubuntu.
On the Ubuntu desktop, open the Terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T together. To add GNS3 to the Repository, run the sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gns3/ppa command.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gns3/ppa
Press the Enter key to continue.
Use the sudo apt-get update command to update the programs.
sudo apt-get update
To install GNS3 0.8.7 on Ubuntu 18.04, run the sudo apt-get install gns3 command in Terminal.
sudo apt-get install gns3
Press Y to confirm the 283 MB of disk space.
Once you have done the GNS3 setup, you can check the version of the program from Help/About.
