In this article, we have prepared the ISO file of the High Sierra (10.13.x) version of the macOS operating system used on Mac computers so that you can perform system tests or software developments on VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, Fusion, and vSphere ESXi virtual machines on your host computers that support virtualization.

After the macOS Sierra 10.12 system ended its support on October 1, 2019, Apple released the macOS High Sierra 10.13 operating system on September 25, 2017.
If you are using an older version of macOS, you can download the new update from the App Store on your Mac and upgrade your system to the latest version.
What’s New?
- APFS File System
The most prominent feature of macOS High Sierra is the newly developed APFS file system, which supports much faster file transfer. Thus, users can transfer data between other Mac devices faster and lighten their workload. When you upgrade your system from a version of macOS installed with an older file system to High Sierra, your old file system will be automatically updated to APFS.
- Graphics Acceleration and VR Technology
Thanks to Apple’s newly developed Metal 2 technology, users have higher quality and faster graphics processing support in Virtual Reality (VR) and 3D applications. They must have an Apple computer with a 5K Retina display or use an external Thunderbolt 3 GPU to create virtual reality applications.
This new update also includes HEVC (H.265) video compression, adding 40% more compression support than the previous H.264 standard. Video content with high resolutions, such as 4K, will occupy less space on local storage devices and offer better fast video streaming.
- Photo Management
One of the most used applications on Mac computers is undoubtedly Photos. Users can better organize their content using High Sierra’s photos app. They can play photos with Giff extensions in the Photos application, edit their content thanks to new editing tools such as curves color, and quickly open and edit their pictures through the application with third-party software.
- Mail Management
Apple has developed a new user interface that divides the screen into two, with the Mail application being made a full screen for users with multiple mail accounts. Now, users can view their content on the same screen while viewing their mail instead of in a new window.
- Safari
Apple includes profound changes and innovations in the Safari web browser application in each new macOS version it releases. With High Sierra, users will no longer be bothered by auto-playing video content on the web pages they visit. Safari will now stop autoplay and unwanted video content. Also, thanks to Safari’s intelligent tracking feature, fake ads on web pages that monitor online activity will be blocked automatically.
- iCloud Sharing Feature
When you save a file or photo on iCloud Drive on your Mac, you can easily share it with others. Apple announced the iCloud Family Sharing feature in the High Sierra version. With this feature, users can share their storage with family members.
- Notes
Apple introduced a pin feature to the Notes app, which allows users to take notes more quickly on High Sierra systems. Users can pin the most important messages to the top and prevent the pinned content from interfering with others when they create a new note.

What is High Sierra ISO?
You can use the High Sierra ISO file that we have shared for you in a virtual machine using VMware Workstation, VMware Player, Oracle VM VirtualBox, vSphere ESXi, Fusion, or Parallels virtualization software, or you can create a Bootable USB and install it when you want to make a clean installation on your Mac computers.
The macOS High Sierra ISO file was created using the terminal from the Installer.app application downloaded from the App Store in the Apple macOS operating system.
You can only use the downloaded ISO file on virtualization programs or Mac computers mentioned above. If you try to open the ISO image on the Windows operating system, you will get an ISO Corrupted error because you cannot open this installation image on Windows.

Went smoothly with Installation , but after vmware tools installation it keep giving error and restarting 9 out of 10 times. even after removing tools. any suggestions >?

If you try to open this macOS iso file on Windows, you will already get an error.
Do not try to open macOS iso file on Windows. Just create a new virtual machine on VMware Workstation and add this macOS iso file to the virtual machine and start installing.

If your computer supports virtualization, you should be able to set up. If the error occurs, I suggest you try it with older versions of VirtualBox.

You can download version 10.13.6 from the table.
This ISO gives the error “This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra application is damaged, and can’t be used to install macOS” when installing as a Virtual Machine. ISO’s of other macOS versions have worked flawlessly,
I can’t find any other ISOs for 10.13.6 ANYWHERE on the internet except this broken one
1. On the macOS Utilities screen, open Utilities / Terminal from the tool menu.
2. Execute the date command in Terminal and check the current date. To solve this error, you need to set the date back 3 or 5 years.
3. Disconnect the VM from the Internet and execute the command “date 102523382016” in the terminal. After applying this command, click Install macOS again and start the installation.
NOTE: The ISO file is definitely not faulty or corrupt!

I’ve just done EXACTLY as you asked, but I still receive the same error. Any other ideas?
To elaborate on this, I can’t get the new date to stick. I can exit and re-enter terminal just fine with the 2016 date sticking, though as soon as I click install and receive the error, the date has reverted back to 2021 after going back into terminal

I was disabling the Virtual Network adapters in windows to disconnect the VM from the internet, but it would somehow still sync the time every time I clicked install.
What worked was going to removable devices from within VMware and “disconnecting” the network adapter from there.

Helal olsun sana Tolga bro, i spent an entire day trying to fix a 2010 Macbook Pro 13inch but kept running into troubles, tried downloading different dmg and iso’s from other websites, even tried the built in Internet Recovery. Eventually i downloaded OSX from this page, made a bootable USB and it worked perfectly. This might be the first Mac i ever work on for a long time lol.

how can I make a bootable USB using windows?
The best way to do this job is to use a dmg file with Transmac software. Or, if you are using a macOS virtual machine, you can make the ISO file you downloaded from this article bootable in the VM.
